Needs and gaps analysis: Situation study. Training of trainers: Organizing and conducting trainings in European universities
Comparative analysis of the current state of the art and development of the CA Partner Universities Needs List.
EU partners will organize the study tour for 5 participants from each CA partners.The selection criterion includes professionalcompetence, administrative teaching skills,communication and leadership skills, knowledgeof English.
Establishment of research and innovation centers. Procurement and installation of equipment. Development and approval of a new 2-year Master's program and micro-credit courses. Conducting trainings for university teachers, representatives of business community and government officials. Organization of 3 seminars and round tables in 3 CA universities (Astana, Bukhara, Dushanbe) and a summer school in Cholpon Ata.
The Center for Research and Innovation will be a structural unit within the universities, open to the business community and government officials.
Identifying priority areas for research. Strengthening partnerships with the business community and government for joint research projects.
Develop a system of ongoing consultations with the business community and the government. Organize regular meetings and workshops to gather feedback and agree on program goals.
Creating a structured internship program. Collaborating with employers and tracking successful internships and job placements.
Acquisition of equipment by CA Partner Universities for research and innovation centers.
Establishment of the project QA team. Development of a quality assurance plan. Creation of a project self-monitoring system. External evaluation of the project.
The Master's program will be developed in accordance with the principles of the Bologna Process and in compliance with the requirements of the legislation of the CA countries.
Self-monitoring procedures (including report templates, questionnaires, survey plan and feedback reports to target groups: managers, administration, faculty, students, stakeholder groups, peer reviews) will be developed, tested and approved at the local level.
In the middle of the first year of the project, an independent quality assessment expert will be selected on a competitive basis. Each partner university will give the external quality assessment expert access to all project documentation. The interview schedule will be developed at one of the coordination meetings. The evaluator will analyze the performance of all QA systems established in the partner universities to verify the quality and sustainability of all project outputs.
Introduction of 2-year Master's ESG program in CA universities. Monitoring and evaluation of the implementation of the new 2-year Master's ESG program. Establishment of an international network; development of an international network plan.
Conducting continuous monitoring and evaluation of the effectiveness and results of the implemented Master's program in order to determine effectiveness, identify areas for improvement and ensure continuous development of educational offerings.
CA partner universities, EU experts and other stakeholders involved in the project will establish an international network to continue cooperation throughout the life of the project and beyond. The international network will be open to other CA universities. For communication, the Network will open a forum on the project website, which will remain active even after the end of the project.
Development of a dissemination and communication plan. Organization of the final conference. Preparation of news on the project results for the media. Presentation of the project at local and international events.
Dissemination of information about the project, goals and objectives, results. Develop a strategy containing dissemination activities, timing, responsible structures/persons, clear indicators and visibility of EU funding. Discuss and agree with the project consortium on the means and methods to be used; Ensure sustainability of project results.
Development of the structure and design of the website. Placement of information about the project, goals and objectives, results, materials of conferences, round tables, meetings on the website. Drafts of the main documents developed within the work packages. Dissemination group will create a group chat for operational communication. A virtual project box in Google Drive will be created to ensure transparency and full access to project materials for all members of the project consortium. Regular posting of news about the project activities, results of the work done in online publications, links to news portals, newspapers, magazines. Video and photo materials.
The dissemination activities will culminate in a final conference at which the project results will be presented to the academic and scientific community and stakeholders from CA governments, business communities and NGOs. The proceedings of the conference will be published on the project website. All members of the project consortium and other guests from universities and business communities will be invited to participate. All materials will be posted on the project website. The conference will also be an opportunity to promote new courses and modules for future students.
Kick-off meeting, development of partnership agreements, establishment of project management steering committee. Updating of the project work plan. Control and monitoring of the implementation of project activities in accordance with the schedule. Identification, prevention and monitoring of risks during project implementation. Reporting.
The project kick-off meeting will be organized and held at UNIGE. Objectives of the meeting: detailed discussion of the project methodology and possible changes in the schedule; distribution of roles and tasks between institutions; discussion of the draft quality control strategy, communication and dissemination plans, sustainable development strategy.
The Project Coordinator shall prepare and agree on a schedule of coordination meetings with defined dates and agenda. Regularly convenes SC meetings for timely resolution of issues arising in the course of project implementation. Meetings will be held online, via Zoom. But some tasks and activities require face-to-face contact, so there is a possibility to hold meetings during study visits.
Mid-term and final financial reports and technical reports will be prepared by the coordinating team with the assistance of SC.
Together with SC, the coordinator will monitor the progress of the project in accordance with the approved plans.
